Cannondale’s Fitness Models

Cannondale offers a wide array of Bicycles. For Beginners, the Fitness Category might be interesting. This is the one that I recommend looking into, if you want to improve your fitness, enjoy your freetime or get the wheels turning while commuting. You can get a fast moving Bicycle for paved roads and easier offroads with a comfortable position and up to date sporty, sexy looks.

Quick Model for Men

Cannondales Quick Model is the lightest of its class- a typical and true Cannondale!

For Men, there are different Models, such as the Quick, Quick Carbon and Quick CX. Lets start with the Quick. It starts from 440$ and goes up to 1300$. If your budget is not limited I would suggest to go with one of the top models like the Quick 1 Disc or Quick 3 Disc. They are light, have good components, strong discbreaks and are therefore more fun to use.

The Quick 1 Disc offers the following features:

  • SuperLight Quick SL Aluminum Frame
  • Lightweight, Smooth Riding Carbon Fork
  • Powerful Shimano Hydraulic Disc Brakes
  • Sporty Shimano 105 2×11-Speed Gearing

It has Shimano Sora components, great wheels, strong Disc Brakes and even a nice set of Schwalbe Spicer tires with punctual protection and reflective sidewalls. The sitting position is somewhere between upright comfortable and forward-leaning efficient.

All in all, you can’t go wrong with this particular Model.

If though your budget is limited, you might want to consider a basic model like the

Quick 8. It has, for its price a very decent set of features:

  • Lightweight Quick Aluminum Frame
  • Durable Cromoly Fork
  • Shimano Acera/Tourney 3×7-Speed Gearing

This one offers all you basically need to get started. You even get ergo grips for this price!

The Quick Carbon Models each come with a comfortable carbon frame. If weight is a topic and the price is not- take a look at those models.

The Quick Carbon XC Models come with front suspension and appropriate tires for cross country purposes. With one of those, you are less limited regarding the ground you are riding on.

Quick Model for Women

For Ladies there are seven Quick- Models available.  They range from 440$ up to 1300$. I particularly like the Quick 1 Disc Women’s. It has everything you need and more. You have 2×9 gears (18) that cover all needs. You won’t have any problems riding up hills nor downhill. I am impressed with the hydraulic breaks and belive that for such a bike, you need strong breaks just like those Tektro hydraulic brakes. They slow you down quicker and with less work for your hands.

The Quick 1 Disc Women’s offers the following features:

  • SuperLight Quick SL Aluminum Frame
  • Lightweight, Smooth Riding Carbon Fork
  • Powerful Shimano Hydraulic Disc Brakes
  • Sporty Shimano 105 2×11-Speed Gearing

Its color might not be to everyones liking. If you don’t like it, the Quick 3 Disc might be a good option.
